Allta is a Sydney CBD degustation restaurant showcasing chef Jung-Su Chang’s commitment to excellence and exploring his Korean culinary roots.

At $325pp and offering just 12 seats a night, Allta is a premium dining experience exploring the boundaries of modern Korean cuisine.

"Allta is more than a restaurant,” says Chang. “It's a celebration of Korean cuisine and culture. Each bite tells a story—a narrative of tradition and innovation, a homage to the rich tapestry of flavours that have shaped Korean cuisine."

Items on the menu include the likes of beef tartare on crispy taro with barley doenjang and kimchi; sweet prawns with perilla oil, cured yolk and capsicum; and a dessert of makgeolli sorbet with rice granita, and pear. The beverage programme by mixologist Joshua Hallissy and head sommelier Sebastian Brogren offers cocktails and wines selected to elevate the food.

The dining counter and presentation kitchen are cocooned in a structure of pale wood panelling, which contrasts against the neutral stone textures of the wider space and draws the eye to where all the action happens.

Bookings are strongly recommended and, due to the format, the menu may not be able to be altered to accommodate dietary restrictions.
